 | César A. AlfonsoCésar A. Alfonso, MD, Editor of Psychodynamic Psychiatry, is Clinical Professor of Psychiatry at Columbia University in New York, Adjunct Professor at the University of Indonesia in Jakarta, and Visiting Professor at the National University of Malaysia in Kuala Lumpur. He also teaches at New York Medical College and Northwell Health. He serves as Chair of the Psychotherapy Section of the World Psychiatric Association. His recent work includes the study of the psychodynamic determinants of treatment adherence, biopsychosocial and transcultural aspects of suicide, the clinical care of persons with low vision and medical multimorbidities, and the design and implementation of psychotherapy training programs. |
