 | David ForbesDavid Forbes, PhD, is Director of Phoenix Australia Centre for Posttraumatic Mental Health and Professor in the Department of Psychiatry at the University of Melbourne. He began practicing as a clinical psychologist in the mid-1990s and has a strong research track record in the assessment and treatment of mental health problems in trauma survivors, with a specialty in military, veteran, emergency services, and post-disaster mental health. Dr. Forbes led the development of the Australian Guidelines for the Treatment of Acute Stress Disorder and PTSD and is Co-Chair of the 5-Eyes Mental Health Research and Innovation Collaboration. |
