K. Roy MacKenzieK. Roy MacKenzie, M.D., President of the American Group Psychotherapy Association and Clinical Professor of Psychiatry at the University of British Columbia, has served as Residency Training Director at universities in both the United States and Canada. The author of a number of books on group therapy and editor of Classics in Group Therapy, Dr. MacKenzie has contributed over 20 articles and a dozen chapters to the psychotherapy literature. He is actively involved clinically in a university psychotherapy service where there is a particular emphasis on time-limited intensive groups as well as longer-term group treatments for severe personality disorders, and he regularly presents workshops in group theory and technique throughout North America. |
