M. Douglas RisM. Douglas Ris, PhD, ABPP-CN, is Distinguished Emeritus Professor and former Head of the Psychology Section in the Department of Pediatrics, Baylor College of Medicine, and former Chief of the Psychology Service at Texas Children’s Hospital in Houston. Previously, he founded and directed the Neuropsychology Program and the Pediatric Neuropsychology Postdoctoral Program at Cincinnati Children’s Hospital Medical Center. Dr. Ris has held leadership positions in the Society for Clinical Neuropsychology (Division 40 of the American Psychological Association), the American Board of Clinical Neuropsychology, the International Neuropsychological Society, and the American Association of Postdoctoral Programs in Clinical Neuropsychology. His research interests include the neurodevelopmental effects of exposure to environmental lead and late effects in pediatric brain tumors. |
