Mary Ann HoffmanMary Ann Hoffman is Associate Professor at the University of Maryland, College Park, and Co-Director of the Counseling Psychology Program. Dr. Hoffman is a Fellow of the American Psychological Association and serves on the editorial board of the Journal of Counseling Psychology. In addition to her work on the psychosocial aspects of HIV disease, she has published on the process and outcome of psychotherapy and of career counseling and on issues related to the training of psychotherapists. She is active in numerous professional organizations, consults to national organizations, and maintains a private practice in psychotherapy.
