Holland, PhD, is Assistant Professor of School Psychology at California State University, Sacramento, and has a private practice specializing in work with children, adolescents, and their families. She previously worked in mental health clinics; community, child, and family agencies; a major medical center; and a Head Start program providing assessment and intervention services to children and their families. Her publications focus on the emotional health of children. Dr. Holland also presents workshops at regional and national conferences on children’s mental health and consults in schools on social-emotional learning and the use of mindfulness and cognitive and behavioral strategies with students. |
