 | Ric G. SteeleRic G. Steele, PhD, ABPP, is Professor and Director of the Clinical Child Psychology Program at the University of Kansas, with academic appointments in the Departments of Applied Behavioral Science and Psychology. He is an associate editor of the Journal of Pediatric Psychology and serves on the editorial boards of several other journals. Dr. Steele has published more than 120 journal articles and book chapters and has coedited several handbooks related to health and mental health services for children and youth. His research examines the promotion of health-related quality of life across a continuum of health risk categories, with particular emphasis on weight-related health in children and adolescents. He is a recipient of honors including the Martin P. Levin Mentorship Award from the Society of Pediatric Psychology and the Diane J. Willis Award for an Outstanding Article in the Journal of Pediatric Psychology. |
